Final Demo Build Incoming!


Hi everyone, Cipher here 👋

This is the final update before the new demo drops! After a lot of back and forth with Creator X, I'm happy to announce that we’ve completed a full rebuild of the game — and it’s a big one.

🔧 What’s New?

We've rebuilt the entire game using Ink/Ink.js alongside vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, giving it a cleaner structure and smoother performance.

Here are the major changes and additions:

  • New UI Enhancements – The overall look and feel has been improved for a more polished experience.


  • Save & Load Features – You can now save your progress and load it later.

  • Inventory System (Early Version) – Inventory is in! It's not fully implemented yet, but a more fleshed-out version will come with the full game.


  • Updated Location Tracker – Now located at the top-left corner for easier visibility.

  • Dynamic Backgrounds – Backgrounds now change based on location and display directly in the game container.


  • Character Portraits Revamped – Cleaner presentation now placed at the bottom right.


  • New Dialogues – Expanded conversations with Maria, who’s now a full character. Plus, Mr. Stolz makes his guest appearance!


  • Completed Paths 1–3 – All three paths are now playable through to completion.

  • Choices - There is slight difference in terms of design  compared to the previous choices options. 

🔍 What’s Next?

I’m currently finishing up the last few bits of character dialogue and doing final bug checks—especially making sure the Ink-JS integration flows well. Some transitions might feel rough, so if you notice anything weird with the narrative flow or UI, let me know!

📅 We’re aiming to release the demo later this week, so stay tuned.
